1.
RCR = type:
fixed composition resistors, insulated, established reliability
2.
Rating
(watts at 70 C degree)
- RCR05 = 1/8 watt
- RCR07 = 1/4 watt
- RCR20 = 1/2 watt
- RCR32 = 1 watt
- RCR42 = 2 watt
3.
Maximum ambient
temperature and resistance temperature characteristic
(refer to MIL--R-39008 specifications as Applicable)
4.
Resistance
value: First two digits are significant. The last digit
indicates the number of zeros to follow, except below 10 ohms:
- 101 = 10 with 1 zero = 100 Ohm < /FONT >
- 102 = 10 with 2 zeros = 1000 Ohm < /FONT >
- 2R7 = decimal point 2.7 Ohm
The letter "R" is substituted in place of a
significant digit to represent the decimal point
5.
Tolerance:
- J = ± 5 %
- K = ± 10 %
- - = ± 20 %
7.
Failure rate
level (at 50% rated wattage expressed in 5/1000 hrs.):
- M = 1.0 %
- P = 0.1 %
- R = 0.01 %
- S = 0.001 %
