The two most popular manufacturers of terminal boards or barrier strips over the past 40 years are Cinch Jones and Kulka Marathon. Both make high quality terminal boards in various sizes, from 15 amps through 90 amps. The most popular material used is phenolic black material sometimes referred to as Bakelite. Higher grade materials are also available to meet military grade specifications such as mica filled (yellow) (MFE), mineral filled (brown) (MME), glass fiber (JAN) (JJ / GDI-30), blue fiber (aerospace MDG).
The most popular configuration is a double row of screws. The Cinch 140 Series corresponds to the Kulka Marathon Series 600GP.
This size with stands is 15 Amp rating and 1100 Volts RMS. This series uses a 5/40 size screw, which accommodates a #22 wire up to a #14 size wire.
The terminals are spaced 3/8” center to center. The Cinch 140 Series and the Kulka 600 GP Series can come with 6/32 screws.
This would change the Cinch 140 Series to the 164 Series and the Kulka 600GP Series to 600AGP Series.
This series can have from one position through 25 positions.

10-140 | 600-GP-10 |
The next size up of the double row terminal boards is the Cinch 141 Series and the corresponding Kulka Marathon 601GP Series. These series will withstand a 20 Amp rating and a 1100 Volt RMS rating. These series come with a 6/32 screw that can accommodate up to a #22 wire through #12 size wire. Terminals are 7/16 center to center. This series comes from one position through 22 positions.
The 30 Amp Series in Cinch is the 142 Series and Kulka Marathon 602GP Series. With the 30 Amp rating the rated voltage is 1600 Volt RMS. These series come with 8/32 screws and 9/16 mounting center to center. These series can accommodate up to a #10 size wire. Cinch and Kulka Marathon manufacture high current terminal blocks.
The Cinch 150 Series and Kulka 603GP Series can handle 50 Amps and a rated voltage of 1700 RMS. They are supplied with 10/32 screws with 11/16 mounting centers. They can be supplied from one to 12 positions and handle up to a no. 6 wire size.
When higher amperage is required, the 151 Cinch Series corresponds with the Kulka 604 Series. These series come with 12/32 screws and 7/8 mounting centers. They come from one position through 8 positions.
The Big Daddy of double row terminal boards is the Cinch 152 Series and the corresponding Kulka 605GP Series. The screws on these series are 1/4 - 28 with mounting centers of 1 1/8 inch. They can handle 90 Amps and have a 2100 Volt RMS rating. They are available in one through six positions and handle up to #2 wire size.
Terminal board marker strips are popular accessories for double row barrier strips. They act as an insulator for the terminal board to its mounting surface. The marker strip will also increase the maximum volts RMS for your application.
Another popular double row terminal board accessory is the Y lug. This lug goes through on one side of the terminal board and can be soldered below the surface of the board. The corresponding cross reference may be helpful:
